Horrible horrible horrible did I say horrible? I LOVED the original Joe Dirt with all my heart it was one my fav comedy movies of all time. This thing I couldn't wait for it to end.
First it just feels extremely cheap. You can immediately tell the budget for this movie was non existent compared to the other one. Second the jokes fell extremely flat and would only be amusing to someone smoking excessive amount of weed. Lastly this movie was actually 30 minutes to long there is no reason that this should clocked in at almost 2 hours.
Was so excited for this but ended up being disapointed.

3 stars strictly because I love David Spade and previous entry but this was straight garbage
AIN'T NOTHING BUT A BUMPERSTICKER
The sequel opens with Dennis Miller doing his typical comical similes, demonstrating he is more knowledgeable about bad hillbilly teeth than Monday Night Football. The film starts out with a good comical, if not slightly crude, birth scene. The film had better scenes, and is more enjoyable if one does not attempt to think about continuity. The movie is a Joe Dirt "It's a Wonderful Life" sort of but not exactly. The movie also spoofs other film scenes including the "Wizard of Oz", "Back to the Future:, and "Forrest Gump."
There were some comical moments, some scenes that didn't work, and a touch of genius, and a bit of crudeness. It is an enjoyable heart warming film for Hollywood versions of rednecks. End credits includes bloopers.
Guide: F-bomb. No sex, or nudity.
It's in the name
What to expect not only from a sequel, but from a movie that sells itself as Dirt? Not much I reckon. Except if you're a fan of this particular "style" of comedy. I have to admit, that I wasn't looking forward until I read that the woman from that Burger ad was in it (forgot her name). Should forget her role in this too if possible. While I commend her for going out there and be as un-sexy as she can be (it's possible), she's also part of one of the worst scenes captured on film. And it doesn't help that it is kind of self reflecting and aware of what it's doing. It's just bad and not funny at all.
Having said that, the movie itself tries to be clever (? I know, crazy right?) by confusing the audiences and making them believe there is a concept behind all this. Maybe Afroman was writing the script. Why you ask? Well you know the answer to that, if you know the song. If anything in that movie was funny enough to make that comparison smile worthy it would have been nice. I'm just saying: Don't blame me, if you think this is a waste of time ...
