The best special he's performed so far!

I loved this stand-up comedy special. I enjoyed the small intro with Gabriel's friends, about his parents hooking up, and fluffy's childhood..

I'm a great fan of Gabriel, and I love his comedy, just so many other people, and i have to say this is his best special so far. I loved his storytelling and all of his funny stories about traveling with martin, losing weight and getting healthier, his relationship with his step-son Frankie, talking about his dad who he hasn't seen for 30 years, and of course his impersonations.

Anyway if you are huge fan of fluffy, or if this is your first special you ever seen from him, it will not disappoint you. His awesome stories will make you laugh and cry. To the long time fans, there are some references from past specials or interviews, and you will love the intro. I don't want to spoil anything from the film, so i'm just going to say to go watch this film and laugh from fluffy's comedy.

Another funny stand up from Gabriel Iglesias

I love Gabriel Iglesias and he is one of my favorite modern comics. I love his way of storytelling in the format of a friend just having beers and enjoying his crazy stories along with his amazing restraint at times. Most comedians go on cursing tirades, but Iglesias shows restraint while not watering himself down. He returns with The Fluffy Movie where he takes on the subjects of his weight loss, his family particularly his son again, and personal stories of his parents.

I really like how laid back he is when he tells his stories. You feel like you are just hanging out with him. There are some great new stories including Gabriel's recent trip to India which is hilarious. There are more jokes about his son and then it ends on a somewhat somber note when he talks about his parents. I like how he can transition from goofy humor to something very personal and emotional while retaining some humor.

Overall, if you Gabriel Iglesias, this is another great stand up with plenty of funny stories and even some emotion as well.

It's pretty good but it should have been direct to DVD.

I know that Gabriel Iglesias is a very hot comic right now, but I was still surprised that his latest stand-up performance came to the theaters and not to TV or direct to DVD. I didn't go see it in the theaters--mostly because I didn't see the point of watching a stand- up routine in a theater and such a thing could be seen about as well at home.

The film has a prologue with a kid who is supposed to be Gabriel at about age 8. It's kind of cute--but only makes up a few minutes of the film. The rest is his stand-up routine and he talks about a variety of topics such as his weight, his step-son and his relationship with his estranged father. A lot of it is very serious and not funny, though there are plenty of laughs as well. However, I really think his other performances I've seen were funnier--mostly because he told more stories and used more funny voices in those. Here, he's talking much more about life, family relations and being raised without father-- all topics which he jokes about a bit but also with a tough edge of seriousness. It's worth seeing and he is an immensely talented guy but not his best work.
